1. Job requirements

We are looking for for an exceptional Delivery Manager to to work with our cross-functional team. We are looking for passionate, proactive leaders who want to make things happen 🪄

The Software Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing 🔭 the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects and products. They work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. 🌈

2. Key responsibilities:

🔑 General Responsibilities:

• Manage all functions and interdependencies to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.
• Analyze customer orders, set delivery priorities and make schedule adjustments to meet timely delivery goals.
• Analyze and troubleshoot delivery issues in a timely fashion.
• Oversee the daily activities of the delivery team and provide direction and guidance as needed.
• Ensure that the team maintains a high level of competence and operational excellence.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
• Develop process improvements to achieve cost effectiveness and time saving.
• Build positive and productive working ecosystem with customers and internal team.
• Ensure a cohesive and healthy nexus between technology, product and sales teams.

🌎 Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:
   • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
   • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
   • Coordinate project activities, resources, and dependencies.
2. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and manage software development teams.
   • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
   • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Mainly between Product and Tech teams.
3. Risk Management:
   • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
   • Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Quality Assurance:
   • Ensure that software projects meet quality standards and follow best practices.
   • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Communicate project status, issues, and progress to stakeholders.
   • Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns.
6. Resource Allocation:
   • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
   • Ensure teams have the necessary tools and resources to complete their tasks.
7. Budget Management:
   • Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
   • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Continuous Improvement:
   • Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the software development teams.
9. Documentation:
   • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project artifacts.

4. Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in IT services client delivery role
• 3+ years of experience as project/product/development lead
• Strong understanding of different technologies.
• Proactive, self-motivated, hands-on and an organized approach to work
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

3. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience in software project management, with a focus on software delivery.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira).
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices.

Additional Skills and Experience:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools can be advantageous.
• Familiarity with software development languages and technologies is beneficial.
